Mindful clay workshops with a focus on the process instead of the product
At Earthen vessels clay studio, we come together to explore our connections to self, earth and community to help gain insight into our personal life experiences. Our workshops are designed to encourage you to explore the process of working with the clay rather than the final product.
Working with clay requires focus and mindfulness, which can help divert attention from stressors and promote relaxation. The tactile nature of clay work encourages a meditative state that can reduce anxiety.
The slow, deliberate nature of clay work encourages mindfulness, helping individuals stay present and focused.
The trial-and-error process in clay work teaches patience and resilience, fostering a mindset that embraces learning from mistakes.
Clay provides a medium for expressing emotions and experiences that might be difficult to verbalize.
Clay classes and workshops provide opportunities for social interaction, which can reduce feelings of isolation and foster a sense of community.
Many people experience a state of "flow" when working with clay, where they become fully immersed in the activity. This flow state promotes mental well-being and can lead to improved mood and satisfaction.

"Fabulous and clear instruction with lots of support from Ginger through the whole process. Our group enjoyed lots of laughs and supported each other. "
"Experience was great! Ginger is a good facilitator, blending clear explanations and fun all in one. Her energy makes people feel comfortable right away. Loved it"
"I truly feel like that claywork and those circles were perfectly timed for me, to help me through the transformations and initiations I was going through. Thank you so much for these past few weeks, the clay, the connection, the circling and sharing and touching of the earth and one-another and our own hearts."
Be the first one to know about our upcoming offerings. Don't worry. We won't inundate your inbox. We're too busy having fun with clay to send emails too often

We acknowledge that we do our work on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People, who have lived on this land since time immemorial. We commit to honouring an approach of cultural humility and recognize that reconciliation and decolonization are not metaphors, but actions that require an ongoing and unwavering commitment to social justice and equity
