The seeds of earthen vessels were planted in 1990 in a small pottery community in South America. Many years later in 2023 Ginger and Jennifer met and discovered they shared a passionate and mutual vision for a clay studio that focused on a process where people could gather to deepen their inner journey through the medium of clay.
They rolled up their sleeves and set to work to create this warm and welcoming space combining their skillful talents. Jennifer Luck is a Naturopathic Dr and Ginger McCoy is a Potter, a Mentor and Art Facilitator.
Together they have created a unique space of self discovery and community connection through the gift of the earth - clay -

In 1990, while visiting a pottery community in Venezuela, Ginger discovered the deeper qualities of clay, and its connection to life and community. Returning back to Canada she wanted to create a clay space that was more about this process and she began teaching the first 'Touch the Earth' workshops in 2012.
In 2023 Jennifer Luck accepted the invitation to partner with her in opening a new space for earthen vessels in Hintonburg. Ginger now trains facilitaters to teach this deep side of the clay. "earthen vessels is a studio that emphasizes the power of shared creative experiences, where hands in clay become a means of reflection, connection, and renewal.”
