Our clay and personal transformation workshops begin with guided meditations and reflections, leading a small group into a deeper awareness of self, followed by a hands-on, mindful experience with clay.
In the camaraderie of the earthen vessels clay studio, skill levels don't matter. Ginger facilitates the slow unfolding process so that each participant can meet the clay without concerns about "being able to do it right.”
Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, working with clay can be a valuable and enriching experience for both your body and mind. At earthen vessels, our classes are designed to encourage you to focus on the process of working with the clay rather than the final product.
Our workshops invite you to explore yourself through clay. We harness the benefits of clay to bring about a state of relaxation and presence that fosters self-inquiry and self-expression.
Through the work of our hands and with an open mind, we can get closer to the grace within, our creative spirit, our evolving purpose, our connection to nature, and how we are each a part of the whole.
Our mission is to create a welcoming space where people can access the many positive benefits of connecting with clay. Our studio is free of the "pressures to create something beautiful" that often accompanies clay work. At earthen vessels, we want everyone to experience the benefits of working with clay on your body and mind.
Please reach us at hello@earthenvessels.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting muddy (they are washable). All supplies are provided. You may wish to bring a notebook for jotting down ideas and inspiration. Most importantly, bring an open mind.
Yes! During your workshop you will create a unique clay keepsake. You will leave it with us so it can go through the drying and firing process. Once it is out of the kiln, we will contact you to pick it up (approx. 3-4 weeks).
We will notify you by email when your clay creation is ready for pick up, usually 3-4 weeks
Yes, we would love to host your next private event! We work with many non-profits and corporations in offering a unique team-building experience. If your staff are stressed, tired, disconnected, and you are looking for a way to reconnect your team members, this is the perfect workshop. We also love hosting birthday parties or any special occasion.
earthen vessels differs from Hintonburg Pottery in the follow ways:
"Fabulous and clear instruction with lots of support from Ginger through the whole process. Our group enjoyed lots of laughs and supported each other. "
"Experience was great! Ginger is a good facilitator, blending clear explanations and fun all in one. Her energy makes people feel comfortable right away. Loved it"
"I truly feel like that claywork and those circles were perfectly timed for me, to help me through the transformations and initiations I was going through. Thank you so much for these past few weeks, the clay, the connection, the circling and sharing and touching of the earth and one-another and our own hearts."
Have a question, just want to say "hi" or maybe you have a brilliant idea for how to connect with clay! We love chatting. Feel free to send us an email, we'll get back to you soon.
Be the first one to know about our upcoming offerings. Don't worry. We won't inundate your inbox. We're too busy having fun with clay to send emails too often
We pride ourselves on welcoming everyone into our studio, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, physical ability or attributes, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make you feel more welcome.

We acknowledge that we do our work on the traditional unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People, who have lived on this land since time immemorial. We commit to honouring an approach of cultural humility and recognize that reconciliation and decolonization are not metaphors, but actions that require an ongoing and unwavering commitment to social justice and equity
